The Giant Scale version of our Fun Fly 540 has finally arrived and is selling fast! If you love fun flying and doing 3D maneuvers with a big plane but need something quick to build and easy on the pocket book, this is it. And our giant profile is VERY STRONG and won't fall apart during those violent maneuvers. As a matter of fact, even if you've never done 3D, this aircraft makes the perfect 3D trainer! Incredibly stable and forgiving, this 540 does all the big bird tricks with ease.

Construction is all wood built up wings, tail feathers, and a new quick building foam core fuselage. The outer wing panels are removable for easy transportation. We use a quality aluminum wing tube instead of wooden splines and slots to assure a solid and dependable wing. A wide variety of engines offer good performance including the OS 1.60, Moki 1.80-2.10, RC Showcase 180 gas engine, and the Saito 1.80.

The wing can be built with either split ailerons (2 servos per wing half) for unlimited versatility such as functional flaps, airbraking, coupled elevator and flaps, etc. etc.! And just like it's little brother, the 47" Edge Profile, the rudder and elevator servos are mounted in the tail for rock solid control authority and zero slop.
