This newest Yak
Version 3 incorporates all the latest construction techniques as well as the
trademark OMP two-piece wing attachment technique. The fuse uses the
proven durability of the fiberglass tube yet retains the balsa sheeted frame
for stiffness with no tail flutter. The two piece wings can be permanently
glued to the fuse for extra stiffness or simply bolted on or removed for easy
transport.
Aerodynamic
improvements from the original Yak 54 Profile are also incorporated to make
this new profile even better than before. The ProYak V3D is designed to
be the perfect intermediate to advanced 3D profile in the 40-50 size class.
Featuring a thinner wing, longer tail, and larger tail control surfaces, the
new ProYak will open a whole new level of 3D performance including elevators,
harriers, waterfalls, knife edge spins, positive and inverted flat spins,
rolling harriers, and of course rock solid hovers and torque rolls.
The perfect compliment to your profile lineup. The all new ProYak V3 merges the top qualities of our
previously popular Yak with the design and building techniques of
our newer V3 Edge. This little Yak will open the performance envelope of
any intermediate to advanced pilot.
